This battery was ordered to replace a Powerline battery which failed when 54 weeks old ( 2 weeks after the expiry of the 12 month guarantee). It was chosen on the basis that the physical dimensions and specifications match those of the OEM Amron battery. If the vehicle registration number search is used it identifies the required battery as YTX16-BS which is significantly taller. Although I haven't tried the YTX16 I am sure that it would be too tall to fit a RE Interceptor 650. Obviously only time will tell if the battery was a good choice but having used Yuasa motorcycle batteries over many years I am confident of their quality.
