Gareth does indeed tighten the bolt before loosening it! The vehicle involved during this video was an import... they have specific torque requirements when loosening the terminal bolts which is why.... oh, ok we can't blag this one; as you noticed the nerves got to him and he made a mistake that wasn't noticed during post production.
