So far, so good. Battery was purchased 2 weeks ago to help re-commission a 1970 12v Karmann Cabriolet which had not been started in 16 years. With some fresh fuel, a quick clean of the points and this battery did the rest. Clearly, I do not yet know how long it will last, but it appears to be well made and is doing everything I ask of it thus far. And at a little over £50 delivered, it seems an absolute bargain. Will shop with these guys again, for my other classic cars.

Well, if I hadn't rushed to buy this without measuring the size of the old one, it would have been a lot easier. In fact, it was a different shape to the Panasonic original that it replaced. I had to "modify" the clamp a bit and managed to get it in. If it lasts 19 years like the last one that shouldn't be a problem.

An A1 replacement for the ailing battery in my 2005 MX5 Arctic. Size right - dropped straight in and connected with no probs. I fitted vent tubes both sides this time as previously the older batteries didn't require them.
