This is the second battery from Tayna Batteries, for I was so impressed the first time around I went back for more. The 097 battery is fitted to my Ford 3dr Cosworth and up till recently never lets me down, like all good things they must come to an end. I had no qualms in ordering another from Tayna as their service is quick and efficient, their product I've found as good as OEM material. You will note that I've only awarded 4 out 5 for something that's almost perfect. The design has changed slightly around the "Flat Post" area. There is a raise portion of the post that obstructs the square headed terminal bolt from going through cleanly. Being Ford it has flat terminal cable ends, these didn't match up at first. With some gentle persuasion all came good. She's back on the button.

Battery has the square terminals that are perfect for my Ford RS Mk6 Order placed, and battery arrived within a few days. Well packed. Now after 4 months use, i have not had any issues.

Too early to give a full assessment, but appears to be a reasonable price and operates well so far. Website very good indeed for choosing by entering search criteria. (Ah, CCA, dimensions and terminal type) Especially good for me, needing a non-standard battery. Packaging very good, carriage cost reasonable. Few days wait for delivery didn't affect me, but might have done for somebody needing very quick response.

Great to find someone still supplying square terminal batteries for my classic. Just one small issue - there is a 'dome' of metal on the terminal that I had to file down so that I could get the bolt through the hole in the terminal. Not a major problem but it meant that swapping the battery wasn't quite the 10-minute job I'd expected. Fitted and tested though and all's well - the car completed a 140-mile round trip without issue and with full use of the electrics.
