Fitted to TD5 Defender in order to try and sort poor starting. Previous battery did not have enough CCA which was causing the poor starting. I only identified this as the problem after disconnecting the glow plugs which actually improved the starting as the battery then had enough power to spin the engine over more quickly. Now I have fitted this new battery the engine spins over quickly and fires into life as it should with the glow plugs reconnected.

The battery taken out had given us over 10 years service. Having spoken to Customer Service this battery was recommended as a replacement for the original. It arrived quickly and was well packed, I had never fitted a battery before but found the instructions very clear and easy. Being a determined lady faced with a heavy duty battery, the handle on the top was very useful, wish the one I had taken out had one, it would of made my life a lot easier. Landi started without any problems. Early days - hope it gives us good service.....Very pleased with the transaction and delivery.

Had issues with another battery, due to damage in transit and time delay in replacing it. So Tanya up graded the spec at no extra cost for having been inconvenienced.Top marks for this, the battery is fitted to a LR Defender 300Tdi have to say it spins up effortlessly. If it last as long as the previous battery i will be well happy, only time will tell? Tanya service spot on as always, Battery is impressive so just have to see if it lasts now?

Just put it in the disco 2 and it started better than ever before! The original battery was 110 amp and this replacement is 120amp so hopefully will last a good few years. Excellent fast delivery too !
