i needed to charge my battery whilst still attached to the car. read all the reviews on the c tek multi xs 3600 and decided this was the one to for. i`ve not been disappointed.

Bought for a relative, already had one and very happy with it. At the time only one I could find that said it was definitely safe to charge whilst still attached to car. BMW 540 has a lot of electronics and I've had no problems; previous car would regularly go through batteries with my short trips. Minor comment - the cover for the permanent leads adaptor never stayed on and not being fused could have shorted to the chassis.

Delivered next day. Charger appears to work very well, managing not only to charge battery currently fitted to BMW E39 530D but also managed to recharge to green light status a BMW battery removed a year ago that my previous charger could not re-charge. Ability to leave charger in maintainance mode very useful in the winter.
