Ordered at 3.30pm on a Thursday and arrive noon next day at no extra cost - great service! Very well packaged too. I chose Varta as being a known good make and that exact version was same as the original leisure battery anyway. Also fitted same battery type as a starter battery in the motorhome as it is a dual purpose battery, the standing voltages will be the same and was recommended by a reputable company that fixes chargers and alternators etc in motorhomes. The cost was quite a bit less than any of the suggested starter battery replacements. Hopefully will last at least 7 years as did the originals.

Direct replacement for my motorhome leisure battery - haven't used it yet unfortunately but arrived next day and fully charged. VARTA batteries have served me well in the past and I expect this to be the same or better. This has the added advantage that it can be used as a "starter battery" too

Varta are one of the preeminent brands of battery manufacture and this particular dual use battery is superb as both a leisure battery and as a starter battery. It copes particularly well with deep discharge. Product supply from Tanya was excellent with next day delivery and some of the best battery packaging I’ve seen. As with all new batteries, it’s worth while putting them on a battery charger to ensure that they are absolutely fully charged before fitting although having said that, the supplied battery came with a good charge and if being fitted as a starter battery could have been fitted straight away if the vehicle is in regular use. In my case I bought the battery for use as a starter battery although in the past I’ve purchased it for leisure battery purposes as well.
