Tayna have one aim. To offer you the goods, prices and service you want. We are a small enough company to be able to monitor every order from the moment we receive it to the moment it reaches you, but we are also large enough to negotiate the best prices around and pass them onto our customers. Making A Purchase

Making a purchase couldn't be easier. Just browse our catalogue and add any items that you wish to buy into your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Check Out" and you will be asked for the few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We try to ensure that all items on the website are in stock although inevitably sometimes we do run out of stock of some items. If in the exceptional circumstance that we take your order for an item, but run out of stock prior to your order being dispatched, we will backorder for you.

We accept all major credit cards, including Visa/Visa Delta, Solo/Switch and MasterCard.

Shipping And Handling

Delivery is usually made in 1-2 working days, but in most cases is next day. In many cases we offer an express shipping option that guarantees delivery on a specific date*. All goods must be checked upon delivery and shortages/damages must be reported to us within this 24 hours for us to claim with the courier.

*Express Shipping

Express shipping is a service offered by our courier that aims to make delivery on a specified date. If stock constraints restrict us from honouring this service the express shipping fee is refunded and your order is placed on our standard shipping service. We can take no responsibility for circumstances outside of our control such as unexpected carrier delays/loss of goods that may lead to your goods being delayed. We will however refund the additional Express Shipping cost in these cases.

Cancelling an Order

Under UK law, (if a consumer purchase) you have the right to cancel the contract for your purchase within 30 days of delivery. To cancel a contract, write "Cancel Contract" on the back of the invoice. Package the items securely and send them to us with the invoice within 30 working days of the date that the items were delivered. We would request that you contact us to tell us that you are returning goods before you send them. We may, at our discretion accept goods back outside of these 30 days subject to a 25% restocking fee. You must contact us for this option to be considered.

We recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error. 24 hours' advance warning is required for returns.

You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example, postage and packing). When we receive the goods with the notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.

Faulty Items

Although faults with batteries are very rare, we do occasionally get items that are faulty after purchase. We aim to handle all faulty items returned to us as quickly as possible to avoid inconvenience to you. We strongly suggest checking that your battery is where the fault lies as in many cases it could be a faulty alternator or boot/glovebox light sticking on that is causing the indicated problems with the battery. As many as 50% of batteries returned to us for test are simply flat and need recharging!

After a faulty battery is confirmed we will pay to ship a replacement back to to you, but where no fault is found, unlike some companies we don't charge a test fee but we do have to charge carriage back to you at cost. Any non-faulty items not collected within 3 months will be diposed of.

Credit Card Security

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. At no point do we see your credit card details. Our credit card processor is SagePay, who use industry standard SSL encryption to encrypt your details between you and them.


We guarantee your satisfaction. All products carry a minimum of 1 year's warranty against failure and defects under reasonable operating conditions.

Remittance Terms

All goods remain the property of Tayna until paid for.

Waste Batteries and Accumulators Statement

Under the Waste Battery Regulations, Tayna Ltd are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries. You can return your batteries to our business premises in person; please do not post them.

Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points. End users may find stores in their local area more accessible.
