Having installed a new larger battery on the caravan a few months ago due to fitting a motor mover I noticed after heavy use of the mover the caravan charger does not fully re-charge the battery. I have purchased this as it will fully charge upto 110Ah and maintain upto 160Ah, just the job.

Very pleased with my puchase of the CTEK MXS 5.0, a well made quality prodct supplied with good clear instructions. I used it on my neighbours flat car battery, after 6 hours there was enough charge in the battery to start his car. We gave it another 8 hours to fully charge up as indicated by the led charge program indicators. Would recommend this make of charger, it is vastly superior to my old maual type charger and competitively priced.

Decided to try Ctek after being unimpressed with different brand of intelligent charger over several years use, and Tayna were offering the old model MXS 4003 at a very good price. Even more delighted when I received a current model MXS 5.0 at no extra cost.

I charged a 2 year old motorbike battery with my charger and was alarmed to find that it had burst one of the cells. Not wanting to repeat this expensive mistake, I bought the CETEK charger and connected it to my sick ATV battery. Using the recondition setting. The battery is now as good as new. Very impressed.

It is difficult to asses the long term effect of this novel charger but it certainly did the job although, interestingly it cannot cope with a very flat battery. A jump start and few minutes running put enough charge in for the full recon cycle to work through. Very neat little unit. Great service from Tayna, of course.

Arrived promptly in the post. Using the fly leads on the battery terminals makes connecting the charger very convenient. Not tried the battery conditioner programme yet, but figure worth the extra outlay for my infrequently used 911
