I had this type of isolation device on my Merc. I have been trying to find one for my Nissan as well. Just made my day when in arrived with my other items.

Strong, robust. Easy to fit but instructions would have been good just to re-assure you've done it correctly. Looking forward to properly isolating my motorhome batteries over the Winter.

I read a number of reviews from other places slating the quality of these items. I dont know for sure but imagine they are probably all made in the same place. Whatever the case I am very pleased with this item. It does exactly what it needs to do. Is very simple to operate, clamps the battery tightly. No issues at all. Came packaged in with the battery so it I didn't realize it was there at first. Check out your other items before missing it. My only caveat would be that I am using it on a very thin flexible battery cable. I am not sure how it would hold up in something like a land rover with very heavy stiff cables.
