I purchased this battery as a like for like replacement on my campervan. The original battery came with the camperven when purchased in 2012. I needed no other recommendation. Cheaper alternative was available.

This assembly vents the hydrogen gas that is generated when charging to the outside of the battery box in my caravan. I did this because when the door is closed and sealed there was the possibility this inflammible gas could leak into the habitation area over time through the openings for wiring. I drilled a small hole in the base fed it through. I then sealed around it so the gas escapes harmlessly to fresh air.
