Reviews of S3 006 Bosch Car Battery 12V 56Ah Type 078 S3006

I needed a suitable battery for my 1982 Scimitar, (pos/neg terminals the less common way around). This Bosch battery has worked excellently straight out of the box. Less pricey than going to classic specialists.

This isn't a recommended battery for this vehicle as the terminal types standard on the Firebird are a US screw type at the side of the battery. I modified the leads to accept a standard UK battery and installed a BOSCH S3 006. The battery served well and it's time was up, I decided to replace like for like as there were no issues. These are excellent batteries.

Good product, good price. Bought for early Cherokees with reversed terminals but battery hold down needs to be modified as no central gap between cells.
