Searched the web for a cheap battery for an older car. Tayna batteries seem to be the cheapest around for most if not all the different brands. Was going for the Exide 063 but for a few pounds more I got the BOSH, which lets face it are an excellent battery. Ordered late on a Sunday afternoon and it was delivered before midday on Monday. Very impressive! Well packed with vent plugs and instructions to remove them before use. Not sure how much charge there was in the battery upon delivery but was at 12.7 volts. Put it in the car, fitted perfect, started car first time. All good and no problems.

Packed well, arrived promptly. This is a 4yr gty battery, so 5stars given on the basis that a Bosch battery should exceed it's gty.period by a good margin. One thing to note is cost; my usual local motor factor charge some £35 more for a 3yr gty 063 Bosch battery than Tayna charged for a 4yr gty 063 Bosch battery! The most likely explanation for this is that (my local motor factor) in addition to increased overheads, has a quarterly staff bonus based on the amount of units they have sold; and the cost of this is passed to the customer. This is always something to watch with high volume items, so in the case of batteries- Go to Tayna via Ebay.
