I purchased this battery to replace an OEM Varta unit and within 6 months it began to fail. Unfortunately I was unable to get a replacement under warranty. I bought a new Varta battery to replace the failed unit and it has been perfect since. I have always had good experience with BOSCH in the past but am now very weary after this costly experience. Regrettably, Tayna and BOSCH have no interest in after sale issues.

Arrived earlier than indicated in a well packaged box. Its a battery that I charged fully then placed into my car successfully. The price for the brand and type of battery were my defining purchase factors and Tayna were better than others - one site that has high prices one day then low prices the next and occasionally a voucher or three, personally I prefer the "simple price" method.

This battery fitted my 2017 BMW X1. If you’re buying a battery for an X1, be sure to check the size! (It’s a pain because it’s really buried in the engine bay.) The online tools and narratives all suggested my car would take a larger 80Ah battery - these were wrong - the 80Ah did not fit. On that note - Tayna have been excellent on all fronts - both batteries delivered very quickly, customer service was brilliant when I needed to return one.

I received this Bosch battery in replacement for a defective new return. I tested it with a topdon 200 analyser and it arrived with 100% charge and 96% capacity rated good. The suspect battery of a different model had been 69% advised replacement.
