Mounted under the front passenger seat, replacing the battery is not the easiest of tasks. However as the original battery lasted for 7 years, it is a job that can be easily achieved if you have the correct tools. Rather than have to reset anything, it is possible to use a spare battery and connect with jump leads to contacts under the bonnet thus maintaining 12v to the car during the change over process. The new battery required very little charge to bring it up the full capacity. The Bosch battery is an excellent product. Tayna service and next day delivery is excellent.

I bought 2 of these big batteries as they fitted my BMW 535d and my Wife's Porche Macan. I arranged for my local garage to fir these for me at a modest cost-as they both required coding. All good and the stop/start feature has now been restored!
