All good apart from posts in slightly different position to original battery and with VW being somewhat stingy with the length of the connection power cables, made it a tight fit.

I found your website very helpful in finding a new battery to replace the one fitted to this classic car which I imported from Australia. The existing battery did not supply sufficient CCA to crank the engine properly. I was looking for a higher CCA spec and to fit within the car dimensions as well as to fit into a new larger battery carrier which I purchased simultaneously on Ebay.
