Not X-Tra, as listed, but Premium. After consultation assured that same product under differing code. Would of been useful to have invoice packed with item, confirming guarantee. Good service.

After resting with a flat battery for a month while we were away in Australia, the car took a good few seconds once the new battery was fitted to charge the ignition system. Then with a turn of the key the engine fired in less than a second. Very good. My only question arises from the actual battery sent, an Exide Premium. How does the manufacturer and suppliers like you rate a Premium battery with an X-Tra Plus which had been ordered?

Excellent battery - purchased based on the AutoCar review. There are three fit bracket fixing positions on the Audi A6 1.8T - this battery fits the middle one - so it may have been possible to fit a larger battery.

I phoned and received good advice re choice of battery. I requested battery was left in porch. this did not happen and battery was delivered following day. some breakdown of communication between supplier and carrier.
