Replacing a seven and a half year old original Ford battery. Amps and Cold Cranking stack up against original fitment spec. Fits no problem into battery tray (getting to battery a bit of a challenge but that Ford design and nothing to do with battery!) Battery as delivered read 12.48v (same on two digital meters). Put on “Optimate” charger for 24 hours before fitting just for peace of mind. Two weeks since fitting. Spins the motor with no problem. Early days but very pleased. There were other batteries - more expensive- with longer warranty period. Warranty period on this product is three years so any manufacturing / product defect should be covered. The cost of battery appears very competitive so in reality very little to lose in going with this purchase.

I bought this battery for the brand (Exide), the power delivery (80 amps) and because it will eventually fit my car, but at the moment, it is providing the power to open the cover for my inspection pit. Plenty of "grunt" to do the heavy lifting via a two tonne, 12 volt winch.
