Delivered promptly, well packaged & fully charged. Very satisfied and would certainly use Tayna again with its competitive price compared to other suppliers. Highly recommended. Fitted new battery myself (easy process) following a YouTube tutorial and had independent garage register new battery on diagnostic/battery management system for nominal fee. Effectively saved several hundred £'s if I had used BMW dealership in comparison. Previous battery was so low auto stop/start would not function and radio and other functions diminished in performance too. All systems now fully restored.

After much deliberating whether to choose the Varta or Bosch AGM equivalent I decided to do a bit more research and BMW OEM batteries are Exide, so why pay more? I was always going to use Tanya as they have great reviews and a great price so placed my order. The battery turned up quickly, despite lock-down, and well packaged but slightly confused with the label inside to remove the bung(s) as my previous Lead Acid only had one vent + didn't think AGM needed venting. After asking my friend Google I realised some batteries give you the option which side to vent from and AGM's DO need venting in case they are over charged. Despite being larger in size than my previous 90Ah battery I fitted it without too much hassle and asked my local garage to code it while it was in for some work. They told me they coded it (saying doesn't really need it) but considering I had a Lead Acid before I didnt want it being overcharged and I could see it being charged over the recommended 14.3V via the dash hidden menu. I decide the money I saved on the battery I would use to by Carly OBD and coded it myself in minutes (chose 90Ah AGM as 95Ah isnt an option). So far it's been great, charging fine (not over charging), retaining its charge great (testing with an amp meter it's been so much better than my Lead Acid). Highly recommend swapping out a Lead Acid for an AGM if you're a weekend driver like me and simply buying BMW Carly to code it yourself (then you can also customise some other things while you're at it!).
