A very good battery at a fair price. This is the third time that I have bought this model of Varta battery in 15 years of motoring with my Honda CRV. The previous two have provided excellent service for eight and seven years respectively so I had no hesitation in purchasing the same battery again. I have now purchased batteries on three occasions from Tanya. I have always had excellent service from them with next day delivery. I can’t fault them!

Bought to replace a battery killed off by a defective alternator on a Skoda Fabia. It's a drop in replacement for the OEM battery and it does what it says on the tin. The battery on the Fabia was a VARTA with 100,000 miles on the clock and had done 7½ years from new which is better than average for a lead acid battery and I have no doubt, but for a dud alternator, it would have done a couple more years service before needing replacement.

Bought to replace a NAPA battery already on the car when we bought it. The battery the VARTA replaced didn't look that old but like a lot of these generic batteries it didn't live that long. The VARTA is a drop in replacement and does what it says on the tin. Past experience with VARTA batteries suggests we will get about seven years service from this purchase, as long as the alternator gives no trouble. VARTA batteries cost more but they are value for money.
