Battery arrived quickly, but I was surprised when I noted that both lugs had what looked like severe oxidising on the metal. After several minutes cleaning the lugs with wire wool I put my meter across the battery which only gave 12.4volts so needed a charge up to a more suitable 13.15volts that you would expect to see on a new battery. Now this has been done it will give years of good service.
