I bought this battery to replace an almost identical previous version of this Lucas battery on my classic car. The old battery was on the car when I bought it 14 years ago, which makes the old battery at least that old.. It never discharged when the car was laid up in winter, or needed topping up. The new battery seems if anything to be even better than the old one. I am very very pleased to have found an almost identical replacement for the old battery and I intend to recommend this battery to other club members, by way of the club newsletter.
