This battery is a close replacement in my 08 plate Suzuki Jimny, but the terminals are on the opposite side which makes the need to move the cables to reach the new terminals. Not so good. Also, I had expected to receive a battery that was physically the same size. It is not. It is two full inches shorter in length.

This battery was one of around five listed as suitable for my Honda Civic Ex I-VTec 2012 on the Tayna website. The website did advise me to check it was the correct model. I did check but not as thoroughly as I should have done. I can only suggest that the warnings be made more emphatic as Honda do not specify the correct battery in the car’s handbook Otherwise a replacement battery arrived very quickly and I was credited with the cost of the wrong battery ver quickly

I replaced a Lucas battery for this on recommended by Tayna. The Lucas battery failed after a couple of years. It seems that there are a lot of fakes about so be careful or just give Tayna a call. Great value with super service delivered to your door next day.

To be honest when the battery turned up I was a bit worried as it was smaller than the one I already had (even though I’d been assured it was the correct one) however the battery is great and worked well since I put it on.
