The battery is fine inasmuch as it fits and works but it has smooth sides and no lip near the base of the battery for the clamp to fix over. Hence the battery is unstable and is having to be secured with cord to stop it moving. I will try and glue a strip on soon but it is a shame and I probably wouldn.t buy a Varta again for that reason

Battery came very quickly, was easy to fit, and works well. It is important to check size and rating before buying, and to make sure existing fittings are in good order. Having done that this battery was a perfect replacement for the previous one which was more than ten years old, therefore I have no hesitation in recommending it.
