I can't comment too much about the batteries I bought. They do their job and they fit the available space but only time will tell whether they still do their job after five years or more. However, the service given by Tayna was excellent. Their web description of the product was perfect and the delivery performance excellent. Packaging was also beyond reproach. On top of this their pricing could not be matched. Full marks all round.

Seems ok, but it is the long term that matters, which, having only just purchased it we cannot say! But the whole process of selection, ordering and delivery was first class, and I would have no hesitation in using Vanya again.

Wanted a 175*175*175 battery for my 54 reg Punto, but i couldnt find anywhere. Halfords offered me one for roughly 80-90 quids, and i almost went for it, until i found this. Its actually a bit taller (195 in height) but its not a big issue, as the upper lock just keeps it more secure on its place without damaging the battery. Had to take out the 2 bolts, put the battery in then screw the bolts back along with the lock. Was a bit tight, but the battery isnt going anywhere like that. 38 pounds for a Varta against a Halfords one for 80 quids? No question who is gonna win. Quality top brand for less than half of the price.

Beautifully packed and quick delivery, it is the recommended battery for this non standard application. After fitting I put it on charge, using the PowerLine battery charger I also bought, and was surprised that it spent a lot of time on the Recondition stage. Something I would not have expected with a new battery.
