Typically, the old battery packed up on a Friday and I needed to sort a replacement for the Saturday- ordered the battery for Saturday AM delivery and it turned up by 9.30AM on the Saturday morning and we were back on the road. Great service all in all, good product which was well packaged, great price and I can't grumble at the delivery charge for Saturday AM either, so all in all, very satisfied, thanks!

Always liked Varta, but this was a replacement for a new failed Varta battery, replacement was not a problem but the whole experience was inconvenient.

Have used Varta batteries for a number of years and they offer an excellent combination of quality, performance and value. The silver range often exceeds the OEM specs so they have power to spare and perform well throughout the season. I see no reason to use any other brand when this is so good.

Previous original VW manufacturer Varta battery lasted 8 years. Tanya offerred best price on the web. Top class battery with 5 years warranty. Delivered within 48 hours with tracking and very good customer communication. Arrived well packaged with standard fitting instructions. Took less than an hour to fit - basically because I had to work out how to unclip the plastic VW battery harness. Simple process if you are any sort of DIY'er. Saved me £50 on the Halfords prices.

It's hard to quantify the performance of the battery, other than to say this does the job! All previous experiences I've had with Bosch / Varta batteries have been positive, so I've no reason to doubt this one will be anything different. Bought to replace the OEM battery in my Kia Magentis which had become a bit weak after 10+ years, and was unlikely to last another winter, this fitted pretty well. It's not quite as tall as the factory battery so the electrical connectors needed a bit of coaxing to reach down to the terminals, but otherwise it's a good fit and looks pretty smart in the engine bay (if such things should matter?). The battery was delivered quickly, well packed and at a great price (especially for a top-of-the-range battery!).
