This battery arrived with a damaged corner. It looks as though it had been dropped during delivery. There was no leak from the battery so I reported this to Tayna just in case there were problems in the future and then fitted it to the car. It seems to be OK at the moment. Delivery: It arrived the day after I ordered it.

I was amazed by the speed of delivery. I ordered the battery at about 3.30pm via the internet and it arrived, well packed, at 9.30 the next day. Many thanks. I am converting my 1961 MGA from the old, unreliable twin 6 volt batteries to one 12 volt and from dynamo to alternator. I am reliably informed that the Varta 60 Ah is suitable.

Great battery - I believe a German brand which is well made and has been freat so far. Efficient order process, reliable delivery and well packed for transit. What would be nice is a propper stop for the gas vent rather than a wooden peg - ist that standard?

Well packaged and superb service. The small area for improvement might be to add a 'quick start' guide advising that the battery is ready charged etc.

I double checked the fitting and capacity against VARTA's own site. Ordered Friday arrived Monday morning. Saved £20 against local suppliers and didn't have to go and fetch it!
