Replacement battery for my start stop Volvo Xc60, it was a direct replacement with no issues, although I did query the use of the breather pipe plug which wasn't for coming out, this being an Agm battery means the breather isn't used.

Very good Varta battery had one for 10 years in my Mini.. it probably would work a bit longer but I’ve left my car parked for 7 months and it was totally dead on my return. One month on with the new battery and all good. I got it at a really good price at Tayna with fast delivery.

Fitted this E39 AGM battery a week ago. Exact match for the Mercedes branded battery being replaced, both in electrical rating and the size and shape of the casing. (The battery being replaced was a branded Mercedes part, but also stated Varta on the label). Very pleased with the battery, packaging and delivery. Voltage on the bench before installation was 12.7v, i.e. all ready for installation. Installed it and gave the car an hours run. Measured voltage the next day before start up and it had increased to 12.9v which gave me confidence in both the new battery and the alternator.

Dispatched the same day that I ordered it. Lowest price that I could find on the web. Extremely well packed. Works far better than the original battery. From the car being new the stop/start rarely worked unless you were on a long journey. Without the ignition on the radio would cut out after 15 minutes with the message battery low. None of these problems with the new battery. I did have to modify the plastic battery holder in the car. as this had a curve at 1 end that prevented the new battery from sitting in the holder
