Great battery. I used the tip of connecting a slave battery to the terminals before disconnecting the old one to preserve radio code and stop any fault lights coming on. Worked fine.

Battery was purchased to replace the original Varta which, while showing no signs of failure, was about to endure its 9th winter. The new Varta drops straight in and exudes quality. Delivery and order process were equally excellent.

I didn't ask for next day delivery, I didn't get it. So if you need something urgently, pay the extra for the guaranteed next day delivery service. My car battery came well packaged. The quality of the product is without fault. My old VW Golf MK3 has knackered glow plugs (which I'm going to change ASAP). It's winter. The old battery was not holding a charge. The perfect recipe for nightmare mornings! This battery however is as strong as an ox! I need to change the plugs, but in the meantime it's acting as a lifesaver. It delivers in the most demanding of circumstances.
