Not the cheapest of batteries but you definitely get what you pay for ! Essential these days to have a reliable battery with plenty of capacity especially with a vehicle like a Discovery 4 that's hard on batteries. Helped when you get the best price from Tayna and excellent delivery.

Our 9yo bmw had a varta battery as oem so it made sense to replace like for like, Tayna batteries were excellent on both price and service, had to have the new battery registered to the car(not sure if that’s a bmw thing) our regular garage didn’t charge for this service.

Purchased this G14 AGM battery to replace the original Varta/Jaguar Land Rover battery fitted in my Defender 110 2.2 TDCi diesel. Tayna Batteries website is really good, and helpful. But I was a little unsure (EFB vs AGM) so I called the customer service team, service was excellent, really clear good advice. Decided to order over the phone, so the transaction was really slick. Customer service team even arranged for the delivery to be delayed by one day to ensure I was at home to receive the delivery. The battery was packed really well in a stout cardboard box and loads of protective padding - Considering it was 26 kg I was very pleasantly surprised. Put the battery on a CTEK charger overnight to ensure it was fully charged before installation. Vehicle started with ease following installation, only time will tell how long it performs- ask me again in four years time!
