Bought this battery to replace the original. The cold weather had affected the cold starting and I didn't want to take a chance this winter as I live in a rural area. The battery was supplied promptly, very well packed with good instructions for the safe fitting. When left in an airport car park for a week, the starter turned the engine over with great power and started easily. I would recommend this battery to anyone needing a battery replacement for a 2 litre diesel.

Arrived promptly, very carefully packed and containing a fair amount of charge. Popped it into the car, removed the gas vent plugs and I was back in business with no more problems. Only time will tell how long it will last but Varta have a reasonable reputation so, hopefully, it will be at least 5 years.
