Bought this Yuasa battery and fitted it in April 2022. Failed in the spring this year, within 5 year warranty. Would not start car. Checked at motor factors and was deemed low on cranking current. Sent back to Tayna at a cost of £20 only for them to tell be battery is OK. Really ? It doesn't start my car any more ! Bought a Varta now, so far so good.

Sadly I never received the item Yodel tried to deliver between 7-9pm, this was no use to me, despite giving them all my details to set up the account, so I could 'Change the delivery times' I still couldn't change the delivery time, and sure enough Yodel delivering the next night between 7-9pm. I called Tayna and there staff are all really helpful and tried to sort this out to no avail! I needed the battery for a specific day so I had to cancel the order and await a refund. Shame that the great prices and good customer service of Tayna have been ruined by Yodels idiotic delivery system.

This is fitted into a Land Rover Defender TD5 from 1999, the battery is 393 mm long but comfortably fits into the under seat battery box with ample head room and side space for some tools or jacking stop blocks. The Yuasa model is large pumping out great cranking energy - true test is winter -10 Deg C or below after a freezing night. My hope is at least a 10 year life - we will see.
