I bought this as the old one was 12 years old and suddenly left me stranded. I chose the 5000 for the Guarantee. However I have a 5000 in my Civic Type-R and it loses it's charge in 14 Days.The previous OE one lasted 16 years was left in all weathers for three weeks. Might be a car problem The Price from Tanya was competitive and the delivery and communications were excellent. It certainly has no trouble starting a 2.0L and the wife feels confident it wont let her down. Result

What can I say? Order a battery online really easily for almost half the cost of the sane item from the top 'high street' suppliers and receive it within 18 hours. And rather like the teleshopping channels.....but wait, there's more! The battery arrived a few minutes ago and is it probably the best packed thing I have ever received. A really tough multi layer cardboard box with a fully isolated battery which, in turn was in a vacuum type heavy ziplock bag and even inside that, wrapped in light foam A bravura performance by Tayna.! Speed, Safety and Superb price! Tayna immediately goes onto my (very short) list of highly recommended suppliers. I will spread the word!

Ordered Yuasa HSB027 from Tayna. Website very intuitive and selecting the most powerful cca-rated battery of that type was easy. Very fast delivery and well packaged with detailed instructions on how to fit it, too. Used a Keep Alive Memory Tool to plug into the OBD2 port and connected the crocodile clips to another car battery. Doing this ensures you car's computers recieve power whilst you remove/replace the car battery. This way, all Satnav info' is retained, saves radio stations, radio PIN codes, engine idling speed is remembered as are correct operation of power windows, vehicle security system etc. Never, ever disconnect a modern car's battery without doing the above. The battery itself is working perfectly. Only in really cold weather will we see just how good. Aside from that, a new, powerful battery will ensure all you car electrics work correctly - things like how cold your climate control can blow on a hot day are significantly affected by how good the battery is - the engine fan(s) needs a powerful battery to get it to full speed to draw big volumes of air over the condenser to provide ice-cold air from the system. Anyway, so far the battery is superb.
