I am surprised that the battery as gone from green indicator to black indicator. I use the car on Sunday and travel. All electronics switched off and to my surprise on Friday, the car could not start. Not even a blink. I am really surprised.

Knowing the battery brand from my former Honda Civic Aerodeck 1.5Vtec before, were the (smaller) Yuasa lasted 12(!!!) years, I was certain I wanted one of this brand again. I know for a fact that Honda now uses Yuasa as OEM in their cars under their own name. This one is a little bit more powerful then OEM but quite an amount cheaper. So I trust I will have a reliable battery for many years.

This battery was delivered promptly, and is the correct size and orientation for my MX5. It was fully charged upon delivery, and was easy to prepare and fit to the car. Of course a battery can only be assessed after a period of time to see how it performs with the car at rest, several starts, etc. However, so far so good!
