I was annoyed that the batteries were not delivered on the day promised. The couriers recorded it as a "delivery failure" even though I waited in all day and they did not come anywhere near us. Still they came the next day and were very well packaged. These are very well constructed, non-sealed, flooded lead antimony batteries. From what I've read, they SHOULD take charge more readily and cope with deep cycling much better than sealed calcium batteries. I guess time will tell. Their length is shorter than standard (324mm vs 353mm), which is great if you have an awkwardly-sized battery compartment to fit them in. They require venting and occasional topping up. The two "vent pods" on top of the battery are easily removed to check the level of electrolyte. Each pod incorporates vent caps for three cells. Any gases are channelled out through a tiny slot in the top front edge of the vent pod. I have knocked off a star because there is no provision for attaching a vent tube to each pod - a bit of DIY is required.

It's impossible to review the performance of a battery just one week after purchase. However, I can commend the efficiency of Tayna Batteries and record that it is a pleasure to do business with them. They are also the cheapest source of Trojan batteries anywhere on the web at the moment.
