Obviously I can't know if this new battery will last as long as the original (15 years!), but it is a perfect fit, and breathed new life into my old 42" mower. In some ways, it's better than the original, in having a built-in handle to lift it in and out. My wife was incensed by the use of foam polystyrene packaging, but I couldn't think of a substitute that would give equivalent protection to a fragile item that could leak acid if damaged. The use of a vacuum-seal bag around the battery was a valuable extra precaution.
