I contacted Tayna batteries and explained that I required a battery for camping to power a small halogen fire via an inverter. Their recommendation was the Numax CXV24MF. I purchased the battery and discovered that on delivery it was not fully charged; infact it had to be put on charge for 25 and half hours. The halogen fire was connected up to the battery and powered it on the fires lowest setting for just over a minute. I contacted the company and they arranged to pick up the battery. After checking the battery they rang me to say that there wasn't anything wrong with it. The problem was that the battery would only power an halogen for a couple of minutes. When I pointed out that they recommended it; they bacame childish repeating that it would power the fire, but not for long. Tayna even wanted to charge me £26 for the cost of carriage. This was reduced to £10 after I said that I was considering taking my case to Trading Standards. My worst experience of online shopping!
