I would highly recommend the Optima Blue top batteries for marine use. They are very high cranking power, with a very low low self discharge rate. This means that even if you don't use your boat (or vehicle) for a long time, you will come back after many months the battery will be fine. Tanya batteries offered the best price and best service I could find on line. Delivered the next day to my home. I would highly recommend both Tanya Batteries as a supplier and Optima batteries for their long life.Definitely worth paying the extra.

Great batteries, I use 2 x 12v in series to start my 435hp Volvo Penta Diesel Boat engine, The last Pair lasted 5 years and are still pretty good, never let me down but I am changing now to prevent a future failure.

Best multi purpose battery on the market. Genuine real deep cycle... I recharged one from flat; 0 volts and it is still in service for engine start and auxiliary.

Superb battery. I fitted it into my boat and test started the diesel engine. It stared immediately. I have second Optima Battery in the boat for the past 6 years. I got it second hand; completely flat ....no voltage whatsoever. I charged it up and it has been working perfectly ever since; Engine starting and services.

I bought this battery for powering a newly installed Bow Thruster in my sailing boat. I cannot comment yet on the battery itself as the installation is not yet complete. However delivery from Tanya was ultra quick and it was well packaged.
