A great replacement for the BMW i3's OEM battery (BMW part number 61217623376). Not quite a drop in replacement but it's very close and once fitted works perfectly. Due to the battery's plastic case design the i3's coupling which fits over the battery's positive terminal can't quite be bolted into place. This issue can be easily rectified by cutting/filing a small amount off the outer edge of the brass coupling until it clears the plastic case and will fit down onto the terminal and can be bolted securely in place. The negative coupling fits without modification and everything else goes into place just like it should. I pre-charged the battery (OptiMate charger) before fitting and didn't experience any fault codes or warnings after removing the high voltage isolation and switching on the car for the first time. I haven't bothered to register the replacement battery in the car's memory as according to BMW i-certified mechanics this has no effect on the i3's 12 V battery charging anyway. So in summary this is a brilliant replacement for BMW's branded batteries provided you're happy to make a small modification, and works every bit as good.

i have searched many batteries for my motor cycle and have learnt a great deal in doing so, I searched out the site which produced a number of batteries of size nd makes for my motorcycle which for some year would not preform as expected and would need recharging on a weekly basis. having learnt about the CCA (cold start cranking values ) I opted for the best value and the highest rating this being 12v 21Ah and 440cca. the size also mattered in order to fit correctly into frame. the agm 12-23 met the mark and the price was cheap in comparison with other make on site and prior use units. I followed the instructions to the letter upon purchase and learnt where my error in past was down to the battery size suggested by Honda agents to small in CCA 250cca was not enough and would drain away over a few days charging amp also my charger for motor cycles was to low 0.8amp per hour. this battery is compatible to a car battery and could and needed a higher amps such as 3Ah to charge in side of 8hrs fully. which it did at the higher amps. since this was fitted it has started easy each time i asked it to over a 10day period it has not lost its power and would easily start at 12.7volts on gauge and charge via bike quickly and up to 13.7v no problem. so i am pleased with results and have the confidence now to go on longer trips out with out worry. good purchase

Excellant service as always. Fitted to my Royal Enfield B5 Bullet after the original looked like it failed (turned out it was the ignition switch!) so far the starting is reliable and the battery turns the engine very quickly on electric start, self discharge is very minimal, retaining starting capacity for many weeks of being idle. A good replacement which I hope to get many years of use from.

I opted for the Exide 12-23 to replace the failing conventional yuasa lead acid battery on my 1985 Kawasaki z1300 DFI. The battery is a perfect fit and spins the 6 cylinder engine over like never before. Obviously I cannot comment on longevity as its only been fitted a few weeks. Tayna got the battery to me the next working day and in perfect condition I cannot fault this purchase in anyway Keep up the good work guys.

I had ordered a cheaper battery at the start but you came back to me with out of stock.You did indicate that this battery would be a good replacement battery as you were out of stock with the other all be it was quite a bit dearer than the first order.Then i paid the balance and confirmed the order.All went as you said the battery arrived on the date you said,i fitted it and the old mower burst into life once again this is a very old mower MTD E130 .Very happy but a little bit dissapointed at the difference in the price.
