The battery is fine although it had not been kept upright during transit and needed some adjustment of acid levels in the cells. Should be clearly marked on the box that it must be kept upright during transit.

Acid had been allowed to move to 3 consecutive cells, leaving the remaining 3 virtually dry. This is not expected to be a result of permeation but most likely to be free flow over the plates due to the battery being stored on its side. Either ensure that your selected distributor keeps the package in an upright position as shown by the arrows on the package or supply "dry charged" with a bottle of acid.

There is nothing wrong with this product Problems arose through mis handling of Courier service, although extra was charged for next day delivery and parcel was marked with arrows for correct transit this was ignored Delivered a day late

Excellent battery, offered a free upgrade as my choice was not in stock. Started the bike on the button after standing for 6 months. HOWEVER - on delivery all the acid had gone to one end - obviously a problem with the carrier. I was advised to tip the battery on its end but eventually had to use a syringe to even out the levels. Would have been 5 stars without this.
