Excellent battery. Like the optional position for attaching leads to it. Converted the bike to 12v now.

Tayna gets five stars for an excellent service - good price, next day delivery and very well packed. As for the battery, perhaps it's a bit soon to say, but maybe knock a bit of a star off as I ended up using the screw fittings from the previous batt as they were slightly more compact. On the other had, the Motobatt is rated 4Ah rather than 3, so it gains there.

Second one that size, got two bikes ! Motobatt AGM is all I use on my classics over the last 10 years or so. Bikes on occasional use, charged when I remember, but they seem to hold charge well. Extremely helpful and rapid delivery from Tayna !

Tayna was great: one-day delivery and a great price. This Motobatt MBTX4U replaced a Yuasa YTZ5S. The cheapest I could find the Yuasa online was £50 (the dealer quoted £60), while this was £25, including shipping. It fits perfectly in the Honda Monkey. My battery had an (apparently) unusual issue - one terminal wasn't very cleanly machined, and had a small piece of metal sticking out at an interior edge. That made it impossible to fit the (large) rectangular nut into place. My solution was to use the (smaller) nuts from my old Yuasa battery. (Too-small nuts are a common complaint, but Motobatt may have gone too far in the other direction here - these nuts more or less fill the void in the terminal, with little room for error in the machining). The battery has worked perfectly so far (after 2 weeks), and came fully charged.
