The battery seems to have good capacity, but voltage drops on the high current draw on start up on R1250GS, it starts, but not as confidently as I feel it should, I have yet to determine if this is as a result of being close the battery's current limit, or a generic issue with the BMW R1250GS (as there seems to a high number of forum posts with these kind of issues).

I had looked at a lot of batteries before purchasing this. I decided on this one because of not only of the name, reputation etc, but the 4 terminals which are very useful for additional items such as alarms,camera's etc, but the extra cranking capability was very important to me and the option of an extra 1 yr guarantee.

I have had loads of these but never for in same vehicle. Never needed another! This for Ryker, this has more CCA and four terminals is a boon. Rayna can't recommend them enough seem to arrive before you have ordered it. I always buy from them.

Battery replaces standard R1250gsa battery It did need charging, voltage was just over 12 volts, although it did manage to start the bike.
