Battery delivered incredibly fast, it fits, and the AJS Modena scooter fired up immediately after over a year in storage. It turned over OK on the original battery but wouldn’t start. Presumably there was enough current to turn the starter motor but possibly not enough voltage to fire the electronic ignition. So, here’s a piece of advice to AJS Modena owners; try a new battery first before fiddling around with fuel system or anything else.
