After fitting a new Alton generator in place of teh original Lucas dynamo, I needed a much higher capacity battery, but it still needed to fit on the original battery tray. The battery fitted perfectly after a minor adjustment and I now have decent working headlights for the first time on this bike.

This battery was for an Kawasaki I have been restoring. The fit is very snug in the battery compartment and despite spraying the battery and compartment with silicone it was still a bit too tight. I ended up slitting the two end seems of the battery box to allow it to be fitted easily. I didn't have a battery to compare measurements with before purchasing this but I checked many sites on the web and they all recommended this size. Anyway it's no big deal having to cut the battery box, the bike is only intended as an old winter runabout, it has very little monetary value. If you are going to fit this to a Zephyr 550 , just make sure of your measurements. It's only been fitted for a few weeks so I can't comment on the quality of the battery, but coming from Tanya, I can only see it being decent quality, they don't sell junk! Many thanks.

Good item reasonably priced, postage a tad expensive but am at the other end of the country so to be expected, it arrived quickly so that was a plus., had previous ordered from the same battery from Tayna but unfortunately it only lasted a 2 years so hope this one will go a bit longer but you get what you pay for at the end of the day so no complaints.
