This looks a very good battery, pre-filled with acid/gel and charged on arrival, fast delivery and a very good price. The afters sales follow up has also been good and attentive.

Firstly I have to say the battery was delivered very well packed, and very quick! Also I have bought from Tayna before, and then as now the service was perfect. The battery did arrive charged, however I placed it on to my smart charger which charged it for a further 2 hours after it determined that the battery was at 80% charge. The battery was fitted to my old (30 year) Yamaha FJ1200 3cv. This bike has about 50,000 miles on it and I also run thicker than the manuals recommended oil in it, as this bike is 1200cc’s or 1.2 ltr in modern speak, it’s a big ask for any battery. So far (800) miles it has behaved without fault, and it spun the engine over swiftly before the big engine barked into life. My bike also has a HID headlamp fitted and despite this headlamp being fitted with a dedicated wiring system to the battery, previous battery’s had always struggled to “strike” the headlamp without the engine running, this battery, however, had no problem. I normally run Bosh battery’s in my vehicles (3 car 4 bike) but have had no end of charging problems with them(both in cars and bikes) in the last few years so I decided to buy this cheaper AGM battery which was almost 2/3rds cheaper than a Bosh and if it lasted 2 seasons then I would be “quids-in”. Time will tell, but currently I’m very happy. I’m confident that with the usual battery care required when bikes are unused for a while that this will perform for many years.

Good fit like the idea of a gel battery due to the infrequent use of the bike lead acid batteries tended to die whilst on the trickle charger due to drying up or constantly having to be topped up
