Arrived sealed for life, ready to go out of the box - no messy or dangerous acid to squirt into the cells or anything and was 98% charged - fitted in 2 minutes then off. I wouldn't go back to expensive batteries again, they need tending over the winter with a intelligent charger and more than likely die as i just cannot be bothered with that kind of routine - so it's order a new one of these every spring, then off you go hassle free
