I ordered my new battery online and it arrived by mail, during this Coronavirus lockdown, just a few days later. Prompt service! It is a direct replacement for the Yuasa YTZ10S which was standard equipment on my Honda CBF 600 Hornet. It is a fully sealed type, so no acid leaks. It sits at an angle under the seat) The battery arrived fully charged, so I bolted it in place and the engine kicked into life on the button. At around a third of the price of the original type, I think I have got a very good deal. as for longevity.......... that remains to be seen. .

Arrived quickly, appears good quality and fitted space correctly, BUT not an exact replacement as the terminals are reversed meaning some rerouting of cables required.

My old battery was starting to lose charge quickly. The bike I need the battery for is a big 690cc single cylinder thumper with massive compression. This new battery needs to start it in cold and hot conditions often 30 times a day when I go up into the Welsh hills on the byways and highways. This PTZ10S battery has done me proud. No problems in starting or losing charge. Very happy indeed.

So I went out to the bike 1 week after taking it for its MOT and boom the battery was buggered. Now let me tell you, these batteries aren't cheap and I have mine on an optimiser too! So after shopping about I found this. I bought it pretty much straight away (away I researched the code) and I'm pretty sure it was here the next day. PERFECT!!! I have yet to see how the battery lasts etc but as for:- PRICE = 5 Star SERVICE = 5 Star DELIVERY = 5 Star I would love to come back to this review and update my battery life rating but after a week it would be unfair to do that! I'm sure I will be back :)

Battery looks good quality and Grier’s ok but was about an inch shorter that the original so I hade to cut a piece of foam to pack the area so there was no movement of the battery
