First battery supplied was a dud - particularly annoying as I'd paid for a next day delivery - wouldnt start the bike, only 10.5 volts in it and it wouldn't accept a charge from either an Optimate 4, an Accumate or a Ctek charger. Fair play to Tayna though, it was exchanged straight away. The replacement seems ok so far. Time will tell. (Fitted to 2002 BMW F650GS)

Varta is one of the great original batteries fitted to cars and motorcycles way back in the late 60's, 70's and 80's - so they do know a bit or two on how to make good quality one's. Only not long ago when they became part of Bosch group !! so its now very much the same technology - still Varta is good to buy and gives good service for years without fail.

Arrived when expected fits as it should does what it should. Pleased with the purchase, one little grumble, the acid levels where very uneven on two cells so I had to remove some from one to top up the other hence 4stars otherwise would have been 5 ?

I've just replaced my old worn out battery and this one seems to be doing a good job. It was a little complicated topping it up with battery acid, but would have been a lot more expensive buying it from my local bike garage. So, good job Tayna batteries :-)
