These have not proved reliable. I have 3 cars and the last one purchased failed after 3 months by showing a constant red. I then didn't know when the battery was getting low. Tayna replaced it speedily and with good grace. Always use Tayna.

Very convenient to know when a recharge is due (when red flash starts to show), as confirmed with CTEK tech support. Also the power consumption is very low, lower than the natural discharge of the battery. It takes about 1mA, which makes 1Ah/month.

I have several vehicles which are only used occasionally, by fitting a CTEK Charger Comfort Indicator to each vehicle, I can quickly check at a glance the condition of the battery, so I know all my vehicles are ready for use or those that require charging. A worthwhile investment.

Excellent neat little battery monitor which also acts as a quick, permanently installed, connector for the Ctek range of battery chargers. The battery for one of my cars, which has a history of parasitic draw & is rarely used, is hidden under the boot floor. This sits on the floor & tells me at a glance whether it needs charging: green or amber flashing & it’s fine, red & I need to clip the charger into it. It works a treat. Well worth the paltry cost.

Great for charging inaccessible batteries. The indicator light system is over sensitive and rather pessimistic in my experience, you don't need to think about charging until it gets to red. Still a handy product though.
