Good product, good price from Tanya batteries, only let down was delivery, I paid extra for Friday delivery but did not arrive until the next week despite calls to the delivery company.

This charger is excellent. It covers every type of lead acid, AGM, and Gel battery over a wide range of capacities. It even has a setting for Odyssey batteries which need a higher charging voltage to give the best charge status. There is also a recondition setting for deeply discharged batteries. There are other CTEK chargers lower down their range but I think the MXS 5.0 model gives a really comprehensive use specification - it will be on hand for a big diesel car battery as well as a small capacity motorcycle battery. It comes with pig tails to attach to the battery directly and also crocodile clips. I have used this charger without issue over a long time - this is an additional purchase so that I can set a couple of motorcycles to charge weekly over the winter on a timer. I don't think this charger is good for lithium batteries so take care here - but CTEK do offer a different model to charge lithium batteries. Very pleased to recommend.

Exactly what I needed, excellent price and delivery time, will keep my car charged safely throughout any really cold weather we may have, it's been playing up and we're not even in the worst of it yet, so I can sleep during the cold nights knowing the car will start, and when I change the car (soon) the charger can stay with me and I won't have leave a new battery on a car I no longer own! Not sure about this product yet. Having some issues with trickle charging, wherein it doesn't appear to be working. CTEK customer support very slow at responding and the manual isn't very clearly laid out so spending a long time Googling videos, which still aren't completely clear in terms of what the charger is actually doing. Reserving judgement but can only rate 'average' until I know what's going on.
